Private Boat Tour to Murano, Burano & Torcello
Three lagoon islands in five hours, on a boat that waits only for you
On The Water, Local Culture
Why We Love it
On Murano a glass maestro works both old techniques in front of you, blown and sculpted — a real demonstration, not a shop with a furnace attached.

The Experience
Five hours across the Venetian lagoon with a private boat and escort, leaving the St Mark's waterfront at 9:30 for Murano, Burano and Torcello.
Murano first, where a glass maestro runs a real demonstration of the two old techniques in front of you: the blown glass and the sculpture glass. Then Burano — a fishing island of strong color and sharp contrast, and the place Venetian lace comes from — where you walk the alleys and stop for a coffee or a shop. Torcello last: the first settlement anyone built in this lagoon, now Byzantine churches and footpaths, with the basilica entrance already covered in your price.
Then back to the pier at St Mark's. The boat is yours the whole time, which is the point of paying for it — the only fixed hour in the day is the one you leave at.
My pick for anyone with a day to give the lagoon rather than the city, and for travelers who'd rather watch glass being made than shop for it.
