Two and a half hours through the back lanes around Rialto with a private English-speaking guide, stopping at three bacari — the old Venetian wine taverns — for a glass and a plate of cicchetti at each.
Cicchetti are the small things Venetians eat standing at the bar, and the bacari are where they eat them. Your guide orders, tells you what you're drinking, and hands you the list of what to order and where for the rest of the trip. Local wines, or the spritz, which is Venetian before it's anything else.
Three stops, all in the Rialto neighborhood, finishing at the Rialto Bridge. It starts at five and doesn't run on Sundays.

Private tour — the guide is yours, at a flat per-person rate whatever the size of your group.
Not available on Sundays.
Meet your guide at the foot of the Rialto Bridge, in Campo San Bartolomeo, in front of the statue of Carlo Goldoni. Look for a representative holding a sign with your name.
Hotel pick-up is available instead, but you have to ask for it in advance.
Allow plenty of time to reach the meeting point.
The wine and cicchetti at all three bacari are included. Anything else you order, plus gratuities and transport, is paid on the day.
