Progressive Dinner with the Locals in Rarotonga
Three courses in three local homes on Rarotonga — a garden first course, a family-style feast, and dessert with island coffee, all to the sound of a string band.

Why We Love it
Dinner isn't in a restaurant; it moves house to house — each course with a different Cook Islands family, a ukulele-and-guitar string band following along.

The Experience
An evening that moves from home to home. This is a progressive dinner on Rarotonga — the first course in one family's tropical garden, the main a buffet feast like a proper Cook Islands family gathering at the next, and dessert (local sweets, fruit and Atiu Island coffee) at a third. A small string band — ukulele, guitar, voices — plays through all of it. Four hours, small-group (five to fifteen), with a glass of champagne and hotel pickup handled. The closest thing to being invited to dinner by the island itself.
